Community Rules

Our forums are free to join and use and we intend them to stay that way for as long as we operate. However,
we do have a number of rules which are conditional on our forums being used this freely.

If any of these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to ban members in any way we see fit. Breaches of the law will also be reported to any relevant authority and full cooperation will be given.

Abuse
Users must at all times show respect towards other users. Posts will not be tolerated, which are violent or threatening. We encourage lively debate on any issues our members care to raise, but we ask that in doing so respect is shown for another person's religion, beliefs, faith, race, age, culture, sexuality, gender identity or any other difference which may be perceived. Users may be subject to warnings and an eventual ban if they are persistent.

Spam
We will not tolerate spam or commercial advertising posted to this forum without explicit consent. Posts containing spam will be removed without notice and again users will incur warnings and ultimately a ban if this persists. Spam posts that have been created by accounts specifically registered on TForm to do just that, will be removed and banned immediately, as will the accounts.

Religion
Religious extremism is not acceptable under any circumstances. Although members of TForm may have religious backgrounds varying from Paganism to Catholicism, we accept everyone. Preaching will not be tolerated (especially when in relation to the LGBT community), and will be considered as hate speech and bullying. Again, posts will be removed and users may face a ban. We do however encourage religious debate if it so occurs as we believe our members are able to do so, without descending into battles over personal religious choices. Religion is a highly emotive and personal subject and so we expect maximum respect for another member's choices in relation to that.

Bullying
As an organisation that seeks to enlighten society and to promote the advent of total equality, we will evidently not tolerate bullying in any way. Bullying will be met with instant resistance and warnings and bans will be forthcoming.

Free Speech
It is possible to follow these rules, without trampling on the free speech that our society depends on. We encourage lively debate and believe it allows for progress to be made in a democratic way on any issues it's applied to. TForm is all about debate! However, there is a fine line between having your say freely and being abusive or bullying an individual. Please be mindful of this.

Please enjoy TForm. We spend many hours making sure that the forum, website and indeed our whole organisation are working as well as we can, for you! Our community is one of very diverse people, all from different backgrounds, of differing ages and lifestyles, who all have just a few very similar things in common. Our members are either transgender, or are related to, have experience of someone who is. Please be considerate!
